About You: I am an experienced, consumer products marketer with a strong creative perspective and acumen. I am a strategic thinker with a passion for driving consumer demand in target audiences and the ability to manage and execute multiple new and ongoing initiatives. I understand the creative process, collaboratively participate in it, and oversee the results to ensure a consistent brand voice across all external marketing communications. My strong interpersonal skills enable me to effectively lead, manage, and communicate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and drive execution of the annual marketing plan
- Manage, track, adjust, and recommend the annual marketing budget
- Develop and drive marketing initiatives that reach the target audience including email promotions, field marketing, advertising, social media, affiliate partnerships, and content marketing
- Manage the marketing process for new products to ensure successful launch across all sales channels
- Work collaboratively with the Creative Services team to provide input and approval on-brand assets and brand communications, including written and visual creative content
- Conduct consumer insights workstreams and product research initiatives
- Attend select Field Marketing events and/or Trade Shows with Skratch team for customer understanding and insights
- Work collaboratively with strategic partners and vendors to reach advantageous agreements that help Skratch reach new targeted audiences
- Identify inefficiencies, remove obstacles, and implement process improvements
- Execute & manage consumer public relations and media promotion of Skratch
- Manage two direct reports: the Social Media / Loyalty Manager & Copywriter and Field Marketing Manager, including Weekly One-on-Ones, Quarterly Conversations, Annual Reviews, and Professional Development Plans.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in brand management or marketing management
- 3+ years’ experience in CPG marketing, preferably food and/or outdoors
- 2+ years’ experience managing direct reports
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, marketing tactics, and consumer insight
- Deep understanding of e-Commerce and traditional retail selling channels
- Deep understanding of Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Strong brand and product messaging skills
- Strong managerial, coaching, and training skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with the creative process for graphic design, photography, videography, and copywriting

Position Definitions:
- Hybrid in office and remote work policy where Skratch Labs employees will be in person in the office two days each week to foster connection and collaboration but the remaining days, work location, and schedule are flexible.
