Full Job Description

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with the executive leadership team to define, execute and meet practitioner and distributor channel goals & objectives.
  • Develop, manage, and lead the practitioner sales strategy for Quicksilver Scientific's organization; working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure communications are coordinated to establish a recognized presence in the Practitioner Channel.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and managing our direct practitioner and distributor sales teams.
  • Lead, manage and motivate the practitioner sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets through new business generation and growth of current business.
  • Ensure continuous development of business and revenue growth strategies.
  • Develop appropriate metrics and coordinate compensation and promotions to drive performance.
  • Develop and implement robust sales management processes including pipelines and account planning.
  • Monitor the development of revenue, cost, profit and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth.
  • Analyze, compile and present statistics and accurate sales reports.
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met.
  • Control resources/work within predetermined budget parameters.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department in the successful execution of, and represent QS team at requested events, tradeshows, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department in the successful execution of all Quicksilver Scientific product and brand campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Ability to examine issues and business ideas from a strategic, competitive and financial perspective.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to successfully lead, mentor and coach employees for success.
  • Knowledge of revenue management to successfully forecast business on both short-term and long-term basis.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales methods and techniques. including an in-depth understanding of the sales process with a customer solutions mindset.
  • Working knowledge of sales/customer service software, databases and tools.
  • Must be innovative, results-driven, forward-thinking, high-energy, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast paced/evolving environment.

Ideal Candidates have the following traits:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Education in Nutrition or professional experience within the nutraceutical industry
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience
  • Established relationships in the practitioner community with an emphasis on nutraceuticals
  • Must have a demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Experience using Data Analytics, CRM, and ERP software tools (preferably NetSuite)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
