Full Job Description

With the growth we are experiencing and our continued ambitions in the US, we are seeking a talented Supply Chain Analyst to join our Operations team in Boulder, CO. The Supply Chain Analyst will ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will be responsible for all planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models. This position will provide timely and accurate forecasts as a key part of the S&OP process, anticipate and address potential supply chain challenges before they occur, and work with the appropriate parties to mitigate problems.  

Overall Responsibilities:  

  •  Create and develop rolling supply forecast using historical sales, market intelligence, and input from Sales & Marketing  
  • Perform data analysis to identify where forecast adjustments need to be applied 
  • Evaluate improvements in forecasting techniques, methods and approaches in order to increase the overall health of the program while balancing cash flow  
  • Drive value by delivering on multiple functional requirements ranging from sku level accuracy, which impacts our ability to source, make and deliver our products while minimizing inventory risk 
  • Be able to clearly articulate forecast performance, assumptions and deviations to expectations
  • Anticipate and address potential supply chain challenges before they occur, and work with the appropriate parties to mitigate problems 
  • Manage forecasting process, capacity planning and balance capacity against sales commitments 
  • Develop material stocking strategies to ensure material availability 
  • Ensure overall ERP systems (both within Oracle and in external processes) are maintained and overall system planning is optimized 
  • Conduct regular reviews of all parameters and update based on new criteria 
  • Lead & conduct supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams, ensuring all production plans are adequate from days of supply (DOS) to deliver service and cost targets 
  • Monitor inventory levels, risks, and shortages and work to eliminate constraints/issues 
  • Track and report key KPIs - Fill rate, Losses, Sourcing Productivity & Inventory 
  • Build supplier capacity plan, including communication & coordination of supply constraints to ensure optimized fulfillment for the brand 
  • Continuously improve supply forecasting and planning while; 
  • Using internal reporting and information regarding current inventory levels, sales demand, and production capabilities 
  • Drive production schedules to optimize inventory levels maximizing product availability, ensuring on time and in full delivery, utilizing cost optimized supply  
  • Critical to this role are also special projects that elevate operational execution against key supply chain initiatives like inventory, ERP system enhancements, and supply chain speed initiatives, and key product collaborations.  
  • Manage new product launches from a supply planning perspective and give proactive feedback to the Planning team.  
  • Develop / implement finished goods run out plans with information from project manager, demand planning and customer solutions to minimize losses and meet project timelines 
  • Ad-hoc analysis and process development projects will be assigned as needed to support requests from across the organization. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Admin or comparable, and/or professional supply chain or operations certification (ISM/APICS) or commensurate experience (planning/scheduling experience, preferably in CPG &/or manufacturing, may be substituted) 
  • Highly proficient with MSFT Excel Office (Pivot Tables, indexing, vlookup abilities) 
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP 
  • Knowledge and understanding of forecasting concepts, brand strategy, sales execution, industry trends, and other economic factors 
  • Ability to evaluate business performance, develop learnings, communicate findings and translate into future forecast expectations 
  • Financial acumen and understanding of volume mix shifts, spend, pricing, ROI and impacts to a P&L 
  • High tolerance for complexity and ambiguity 
  • Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics, turns, margins, etc. 
  • Understanding of supply chain processes, with experience in forecasting, S&OP, planning, fulfilment and logistics 
  • Experience using analytics and metrics to assess supply chain performance and identify and quantify improvement opportunities
