The Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA) is a 501(c)3 Colorado non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving, perpetuating and improving the site and spirit of the historic Chautauqua by enhancing its community and values through cultural, educational, social and recreational experiences. The Chautauqua experience is based on lifelong learning, love of nature, voluntary simplicity, and music, oration and the arts. Historic significance, traditions, cultural relevance, respite and enrichment are among the community benefits provided by the Colorado Chautauqua.
CCA is looking for a versatile and well-organized Wedding and Social Events Manager. A customer-centric event professional with a warm, can-do attitude and incredible attention to detail. As our Wedding and Social Events  Manager, you will be responsible for selling, booking, and managing all aspects of the planning and detailing process for all social events, from contract conversion to final billing and post-event follow-up. You will work closely with CCA’s Sales team, catering provider, third-party planners, and a variety of approved vendors to execute events that meet/exceed client expectations and develop trusted relationships with CCA operations teams to ensure client objectives are met while successfully balancing the capabilities of the operation.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 plus years in wedding and social event sales and planning in a hospitality setting. Nonprofit a plus.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Maestro software experience a plus

Designation: Â Full-time, benefited position.
Starting Salary: Â $56,000 to $58,000 annually
