This position is responsible for management of process and data for established national brands for international markets and for company developed brands while providing outstanding support to our sales team, customers and suppliers.Â
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Project Management
- Work with brand owners to prepare and transmit product information regarding new products, changes and discontinuations to customers and sales team.
- Establish and manage intracompany best practices and processes from development stage to commercial production of consumer-packaged food products.
- Establish and manager manufacturer best practices and processes for commercial production of products.
- Manage product specifications, ingredients, packaging including work with consultants to ensure the products are compliant in the target markets.
- Manage and maintain product information within the company data management system.
- Create Sales Kits with the Marketing department to support Sales team.
Production Supply Chain Management
- Plan and manage production schedules, materials and packaging as necessary for company branded products.
- Manage relationship with suppliers and manufacturers, visit production facilities as necessary to implement and maintain production standards.
- Manage quality claims and deliver claim resolutions to improve the product, enhance the company’s and customer’s satisfaction. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to establish continuous quality improvement programs.
Relationship Support:
- Assist in developing strategic supplier relationships and networks capable of meeting current and future business requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with manufactures, suppliers and customers to facilitate and improve customer and administration satisfaction.
- Work with suppliers, customers and internal staff to identify service, quality and cost impacting issues for continuous improvement.

- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
- Solution-oriented problem solver, attention to details/deadlines required.
- Effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage customer service staff, participate in meetings with suppliers and lead cross-function team members in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
- Appreciation of a fast-moving, demanding environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities in accordance with business needs.
- Possess proficiency in MS Word and Excel. (Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise and Smartsheets a plus)
- Work and contribute within a culturally diverse business environment, including with international suppliers and customers.
- Up to 20% travel.
- Ability to taste and smell. There is exposure to food items containing allergens, including but not limited to cereals, corn, soy, nuts, egg and dairy.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
- 3-4 years of increasingly responsible sales, account management, product development, and project management preferably in consumer-packaged foods and beverages or international trade involving foods and beverages.
- Knowledge and experience with production and sales of consumer-packaged foods and beverages.
- Regulatory compliance related to food (FDA, HACCP, ISO, GFSI, etc.), supply chain management, and international business are a plus.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a salaried full-time position:Â $65,000 - $75,000 per year DOE.Â
Position is eligible for additional compensation such as bonus/commissions
