Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC) is a statewide 501(c)3 nonprofit that works with healthcare facilities, community-based organizations, and families here in Colorado as well with national partners to advance best practices and improve outcomes in maternal and infant health. Our vision is that EVERY pregnant and postpartum person, infant, and their families in Colorado has access to and receives safe, equitable, high-quality care. CPCQC also serves as the backbone organization for the Colorado Maternal Mental Health Collaborative (CMMHC) and Framework. CMMHC is a collective impact effort made up of more than thirty organizations with diverse and critical experience and roles in supporting perinatal mental health and wellness.
Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator will support the maternal health improvement initiatives being conducted by the CPCQC across the state. The coordinator will provide administrative support, coordination, facilitation, and project management to assist in the implementation and evaluation of clinical quality improvement initiatives in hospitals across Colorado, including supporting work groups and steering committees of clinical and community partners that guide these initiatives. This is a full-time, salaried position working remotely in the state of Colorado. While this position is remote, there is an expectation to attend events and meetings in person across the state as needed. The coordinator reports to the Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate interactions/relationships between staff, clinical and community partners, and all other program stakeholders
- Work to keep programs on schedule and functioning smoothly
- Monitor implementation of program policies and practices
- Coordinate program communications
- Support program growth and development as necessary
- Manage external program marketing and communications (media relations, social media) under guidance of communications staff
- Schedule and organize program-related meetings and events, including creating meeting invitations, agendas, note-taking, and managing follow-ups
- Oversee technology for program operations, such as video conferencing technology, presentation software, and other communications technologies
Requirements:
- Experience in coordination or project management, preferably in related field
- Education: Minimum requirement of bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, public health, healthcare administration, social work/social services.
- Preferred but not required: master’s degree in public health, social work, healthcare administration, or related fields
Skills/qualifications:
- Skill and experience with project management and project management software/processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, in-person and via phone/web.
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management efficiency, and personal accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Solid customer service and interpersonal skills
- Advanced technological skills with good working knowledge of and experience with spreadsheets, scheduling, and office management software; experience with Google Workspace a plus
