We currently have an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, creative and highly organized individual to join our team as our Retail Marketing Manager in the Boulder, CO office.

The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for the retail marketing budget and development/execution of all retail marketing efforts including management of in-store partner opportunities, retail print marketing, visual merchandising, point of sale, retailer asset distribution, as well as relevant retail digital and social media marketing. Some key aspects of this role are collaboration, ideation and must be detail oriented for the completion of successful retail campaigns. This role works closely with the marketing director, manages the retail marketing coordinator, and serves as liaison between the sales/marketing/inventory teams. Strong communication skills needed to determine/analyze/track KPIs is key. This role is also responsible for Sea to Summit’s North American tradeshow efforts and coordinating cross-departmental and global support to ensure all events are executed to Brand standards and objectives. The Retail Marketing Manager reports directly to the Brand Marketing Director. This position will work in tandem with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude, supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals, along with other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate has the following attributes:

  • 4+ years in a marketing role or related position and Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent
  • Retail or Sales experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to perform detailed quantitative analysis on marketing campaigns to judge effectiveness
  • Project management experience with the ability to effectively manage time, multi-task and prioritize; operates with a sense of urgency
  • Experience managing individuals or small teams to be cohesive and produce strong results
  • Demonstrate a high degree of budget and expense management control.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative and a strong sense of ownership, urgency and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior time management, multi-tasking, organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of staff? in an effective and professional manner
  • Provides strong customer service, interpersonal, and conflict management skills
  • Relentless curiosity, self-motivation, and a creative thinker
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, excellent judgement and collaboration with team.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills including MS-Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud experience (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) a plus.
  • Flexible and adaptable when facing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Must display a high degree of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
  • Outdoor experience and an understanding of outdoor equipment a plus

This is a full-time office-based position (with 1-2 remote work days); located in Boulder, Colorado. This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement match, EAPs, paid time off, community service leave, paid holidays, RTD Pass,  gear allowance, dog friendly work environment and some other great perks. The salary range for this role is $74,083 - $101,022 with the starting salary around the mid point of this range.
