The Business System Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our ERP and EDI system capabilities along with providing training and leading quality assurance, testing, and troubleshooting activities. This position will be the champion of all EDI transactions, as well as work side by side with the Data Specialist to ensure that new EDI trading partners are implemented on schedule and error free. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for continuous improvement and documentation of ERP system related processes and working with end users to ensure SOPs are updated with system upgrades. This position will ensure that systems and customizations are tested and approved prior to launch. This position will communicate system project timelines to management with a full scope of impacts to day to day operations.
Position Duties.
- Monitor EDI system on a daily basis. Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Work with department leads to resolve ERP and EDI issues that involve purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and other applicable documents.
- Ensure ERP emailing system remains functional as well as all customer facing document formatting is up to date
- Configure and maintain SAP add-on functions such as Coresystems, Valogix, and iPayment.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of systems validation rules.
- Create and maintain system SOP’s and workflows. Ensure all applicable SOP’s are updated cross departmental when impacted by system updates.
- Review electronic data received from EDI partners to ensure presence and accuracy of critical data elements.
- Track and analyze chargebacks that are directly related to EDI/ERP errors.
- Deliver timely, accurate and professional technical support and information internally and externally, including real-time support, communication, escalation, reporting, and analysis of potential outage events.
- Work in partnership with Data Specialist to implement new EDI partners by ensure customConduct and coordinate testing of systems upgrades for all applicable ERP and EDI transactions.
- ·Obtain RFQ’s for systems upgrades and new EDI trading partnerMaintain customer compliance for EDI transactions and ensure ERP and WMS accommodations..
- Conduct SAP onboarding and offboarding for end users. Maintain detailed project calendar and ensure all deliverables and deadlines are realized.
- Manage integrations projects in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Data Specialist.
- Demonstrate “nimbility” by providing cross-functional support as needed.
- Work in tandem with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals, along with other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma is required, however, a bachelor’s degree in the field is highly desired.
- 2 years or more years in related field
- Knowledge of best practices and creating SOPs for system operations
- Experience with EDI transactions and applications (primarily 810, 846, 850, 855, 856, 997) required.
- Experience with SAP Business One (or other ERP), SPS Commerce, or other third party EDI provider.
- Experience working with ERPs and ability to test system for upcoming changes and troubleshoot issues Ability to work autonomously, multi-task in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Ability to multi-task, exercise excellent time management, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to exercise sound discretion and strict maintenance of confidentiality of all confidential and sensitive communications and information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Access.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable when facing changing priorities in a fast paced environment
This is a full-time office-based position (with 1-2 remote work days); located in Boulder, Colorado. The salary range for this role is $67,348 - $91,839 with the starting salary at the mid point of this range.
