Essential Job Functions Duties and Responsibilities

• DSD Management overseeing and training a route sales team.
• Maintain vacation/coverage schedules.
• Bakers Dozen DSD Platform (or similar) knowledge.
• Manage Handhelds/ Printers/ DEX Equipment.
• Manage Truck Fleet.
• Manage Training and Driver Safety Programs.
• Assist DSD Director as needed.

Qualifications

• Education preferred: Minimum HS graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7+ years DSD Experience.
• Must be able to perform all DSD functions related to operating a sales route.
• Well versed in DSD routing optimization.
• Clear understanding of the unique nuances of the DSD world.
• A gritty willingness to get the job done.
• Must possess and continually maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Two years of continuous improvement, total quality or team-based management experience or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow tactical direction.
• Customer focused mentality.
• Ability to be flexible and take proper initiative.
• Must have proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams.

Work environment

• Exposure to fluorescent lights
• Climate variation leaving and returning to truck.
• In market execution at store level.
• Depot/ Warehouse environment with traditional DSD bakery workdays and hours.
• Normal schedule is Monday/ Tuesday/ Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday.
• Standing and walking on concrete floors.
• Repetitive bending, kneeling, stretching, climbing, and movement of plastic stackable trays containing our products.

Salary and Benefits

• Depending on experience, this role will have a base salary of $70k-$90k
• Annual bonus target is 7%
• Health benefits with company paying a portion.
• PTO accrual of 10 days per year
