Purely Elizabeth is seeking a highly-motivated Project Manager to help drive improved performance across the entire business by planning and driving implementation of new initiatives. In order to contribute to our highly dynamic environment, the Project Manager must possess strong organization and time management skills, be capable of creative problem solving, and have the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. This position will be a critical part of the supply chain team and report to the Director of Commercialization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the project lifecycle for initiatives including Product Innovation & Renovation, Cost Improvement, and Manufacturing and Logistics Network changes, facilitating the initiation, planning and execution of each project.
- Partner with functional and project leaders to build project plans and timelines, populate and maintain project documents, and allocate resources to support the completion of target initiatives.
- Use strong meeting facilitation skills to lead cross-functional groups through productive work sessions by ensuring alignment and documenting key decisions.
- Drive projects forward by tracking task completion and ensuring critical project milestones are met. Hold project team members accountable for assigned work.
- Identify project roadblocks, risks, and challenges; work cross-functionally to resolve and escalate as needed.
- Clearly report project status regularly to stakeholders and executive leadership to provide visibility and gain alignment organization wide, using concise descriptions and visualizations to make information easily digestible.
- Influence prioritization of functional work based on dynamic business and project needs; ease ambiguity or pivots in project direction as necessary.
- Proactively identify and initiate process improvement opportunities.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years of general operations experience, preferably in a CPG food manufacturing environment.
- Has experience leading projects within a team environment across multiple functions.
- Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and creative problem solver.
- Flexible; quickly adaptable to changing business needs.
- Able to understand organizational priorities and work with a sense of urgency.
- Proactive and hands-on; motivated by being involved in all facets of the business.
- Asana, SmartSheet, or other project management software experience preferred.
- 10%-20% of travel as needed.
