<p><p><p>We currently have an excellent opportunity for a highly organized individual who has a passion for journal entries, numbers and spreadsheets to join our team as our Financial Accountant in the Boulder, CO office. </p><br /><br />
<p>The Financial Accountant is an integral part of the Finance team, working autonomously at times while having the authority to formulate solutions and make decisions within reason. This position is responsible for analyzing cash flows, planning and tracking accounts payable, performing account reconciliations, and assisting in supporting a five business day monthly close. The Financial Accountant has excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. This position develops and implements accounting best practices and assists the Finance Manager and Senior Financial Analyst with other requests as needed.</p><br /><br />
<p>The Financial Accountant reports directly to the Finance Manager. This position will work in tandem with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude, supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals.</p><br /><br />
<p>The ideal candidate has the following attributes:</p><br /><br />
<ul><br /><br />
<li>Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance or equivalent years of experience</li><br /><br />
<li>4+ years experience in accounting or a related field</li><br /><br />
<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.</li><br /><br />
<li>Ability to read and analyze financial reports.</li><br /><br />
<li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills.</li><br /><br />
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel skills</li><br /><br />
<li>Ability to exercise integrity and discretion with sensitive information.</li><br /><br />
<li>Communicate effectively verbally or in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.</li><br /><br />
<li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li><br /><br />
<li>Possess a friendly and positive attitude.</li><br /><br />
<li>Flexible and adaptable when facing changing priorities in a fast paced environment.</li><br /><br />
<li>Knowledge of Accounting Software and ERP systems such as SAP preferable.</li><br /><br />

<p>This is a full-time office-based position (with opportunity for 1-2 remote work days per week); located in Boulder, Colorado. This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement match, EAPs, paid time off, community service leave, paid holidays, gear allowance and some other great perks. The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 with the starting salary around the mid point of this range.<br /><br /><br />
