The role will report to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain. The role requires strong data analysis and problem-solving skills as well as a creative and inquisitive nature to identify opportunities and address challenges in a professional and confident manner, along with championing new processes and inspiring other improvements. Demonstrated ability to achieve results in demand and supply activities. Strong ability to leverage systems and data to influence decisions. As a vital team member, this position requires a highly motivated individual who’s not afraid to take ownership of projects and objectives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (this is not all-encompassing. Stay on your feet… Duties and responsibilities may change):
- Responsible for keeping planning system up to date with accurate inventory counts across all 3rd party warehouses and manufacturing facilities. Includes in and out receipt transactions for all raw, pack, WIP, and finished goods, BOL tracking, review, and input, accurate lot control for all materials, consumption of materials when production occurs, and reconciliation with suppliers, plants, and warehouses.
- Perform month end and year-end inventory reconciliation for each raw, pack, and finished goods material that the company owns to ensure tight controls are in place and works in conjunction with finance and accounting for needed reporting and controls.
- Coordinate with Finance team for periodic inventory valuation reporting, ensuring that all transactions are up to date and inventory is accurate.
- Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure proper invoicing from suppliers in a timely manner to ensure fast and continual flow.
- Update and distribute weekly reports to support the supply chain and finance teams (production yield by plant, inventory levels of materials and finished goods, etc.
- Work within MRP and various other systems to create new Vendor Locations, Suppliers, Raw Materials, and Finished Goods to support the commercialization of new items.
- BOM creation and maintenance within systems to ensure systems are always kept up to date.
- Backup for customer service and logistics, ensuring that customer orders are entered in timely, accurately, and customers acknowledged with accurate expected quantity and delivery date information. Orders are tendered to carriers as appropriate, and continual tacking and communication is achieved for all orders to ensure impacted parties are kept up to date on any changes or issues.
- Backup to collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support customer allocations and priorities as required, taking into account customer priority, promotion activity, and past performance. Communicate to customers and up and down the chain as needed for complete clarity and alignment.
- Laision with distributors and re-distributors for order cadence and changes, monitoring orders and communicating and aligning on needs, and managing catch weight program for applicable items.
- Project management for supply chain team on commercialization of new items and other projects that impact supply chain team. Responsible for keeping team members on track and escalating any issues to management.
- Miscellaneous supply and demand activities in support of Supply Chain team.
- Identify/recognize problems from various perspectives (cross-org) in order to understand implications and propose solutions, and collaborate with others to solve complex problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
- Proficient in MS Office Suite – need to be able to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Nice-to-Haves:
- CPG and Food CPG experience
- Familiarity with inventory reconciliation, B2B customer service, and project management
