Full Job Description

Who You Are:

At The Good Crisp Company, we're searching for a passionate, dedicated Director of Demand Planning, who wants to make a real difference in the world of snacks and isn’t afraid to create process and dive in to the numbers. As the Director of Demand Planning, you will play a key role in using your skill set to develop and implement demand planning tools and systems. This role will be pivotal to the next phase of our growth, managing our planning and forecasting processes while working cross functionally with multiple departments to ensure a dynamic supply chain. You will lead the process to translate sales forecasts, retail data, and promotional activities into a demand plan.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain demand planning processes to support launch of new product lines, continued growth on current products, and adjustments to market trends/promotional activity
• Drive S&OP process internally, coordinate inputs to align sales and demand forecast with financial goals and supply chain plans
• Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels by channel, product line, and individual SKU’s
• Provide leadership in supply and procurement function to support inventory strategies and planning
• Ensure product availability and efficiently manage production to minimize out of stocks/overproduction
• Maintain and distribute quarterly vendor forecasts for key raw materials, packaging suppliers, and manufacturing partners
• Analyze and report on trends in the business, variances in forecast and impact to future production plans, inventory position etc.
• Support VP of Operations with ongoing reporting needs and ad-hoc analysis for forecasting, inventory management, and margin improvement projects
• Support strategic initiatives in innovation and new product development

Location
While we have a preference for candidates based in Boulder/Denver, we are open to remote applicants as well.
