Full Job Description
Purpose: This position manages all aspects of the Brewery Supply Chain including production planning, warehouse, logistics and customer service.  This role ensures adequate inventory of finished goods and materials to meet customer demand.   Manages the creation and execution of the master production schedule including materials procurement, inventory creation, and all warehousing functions so that all inventory is correctly handled, received, shipped, stored, and rotated.  This position works closely with our demand planner and sales team and is a key player managing the monthly S&OP process.  This role is the central hub of the brewery.  The Supply Chain manager must be able to work cross-functionally, influence others and have a high attention to detail with a drive for results.    
  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Manages all supply chain functions related to production planning, inventory control, receiving, shipping, BOM’s and management of the ERP system.
• Manages the Planning and Warehouse teams.  
• Oversight of the master production schedule and responsible for execution of the master production schedule.  
• Coordinates with the Brewing, Cellar, and Packaging Teams to ensure production schedules are achievable and optimized.   
• Manages customer orders providing stellar communication and customer service.  Manage customer expectations.  Ensures delivery of customer orders on-time and in full. Responsible for OS&D process.
• Sets finished Goods Inventory targets and maintains those targets. 
• Responsible for procurement of materials to meet the production plans.
• Works collaboratively with our contract brewing partners to create productions plans that meets their demands.  
• Ensures system transactions are made timely and with a high level of accuracy.  
• Responsible for inventory levels across finish goods and materials.  Responsible to drive down inventory levels. 
• Assists in managing productions annual budget and identifying deviations while supporting corrective actions.  
• Professionally represents Avery including in all work duties both within and outside Avery’s’ facilities. 
 
Supervisory Responsibilities:  
• 2 direct reports and a warehouse team.

• In depth knowledge of supply chain and production planning and driving projects for efficiencies to impact business results.
• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to build value-add relationships within function/organization and with suppliers. 
• High level of knowledge into the various systems used within the production areas of Avery, 
• Work well with all levels of the business.
• Experience in procurement and contracts 
• Experience in KPIs such as production efficiency, labor costs, STD vs actual cost, delivered savings, waste, cash flow impact on P&L.  
• Analyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects. 
 
Education and Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field and 5+ years proven success managing supply chain initiatives. Brewing industry experience plus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment can be in excess of 85db. 
 
Pay band for this role is $65,000 to $90,000. Benefits include paid company holidays, health, dental, vision, and other ancillary benefit coverage, paid vacation time off, paid sick time off, parental leave, and 401(k) matching.
