Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is pivotal to bolstering Moots’ brand visibility and enhancing customer engagement across social media, email marketing, digital advertising, website, and trade shows/events. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, overseeing day-to-day website functionality, creating and monitoring search ad campaigns, and email marketing strategy and execution. You will assist the Marketing Director as a point person for contracted firms specializing in SEO, analytics and UI/UX. Additionally, you will be a critical presence at trade shows and spearheading direct-to-customer marketing events.
Your goal is to lead and execute a robust digital presence for Moots, embodying our brand values in all that you do. You are a dynamic, creative individual, eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Community Marketing - Social Media and Email
- Own social media. With guidance from the Marketing Director you will manage all social media posting, strategy, engagement, and influencer partnerships on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms as we grow our online presence.
- As a part of your social media ownership, you will be responsible for activating our customers, sales team, and retail partners to post and manage our current giveaway program to incentivize more UGC.
- Management of email and SMS marketing. Work with our Marketing Director to maintain our email and SMS calendar, schedule campaigns, and report on campaign performance.
Sales Marketing: Sales Events and Retail Merchandising
- Contribute to Moots presence at events by ensuring all signage, marketing materials, and booth presentation align with the brand.Â
- Working with the sales team, ensure all wholesale partners are equipped with seasonally relevant, up-to-date merchandise to assist with sell-through of product and to incentivize brand loyalty.
Brand Content Support
- Support the Marketing Director with photoshoot planning and execution; location scouting, model sourcing, and hospitality needs.
- Be a part of the team executing creative content both in front of and behind the camera.
Qualifications:
- Experience creating content for social media: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
- Experience with Google Ads and Analytics
- Experience with WordPress and/or Shopify
- Availability and willingness to travel to trade shows, marketing events, etc
- Excitement to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are highly organized and able to keep projects running independently.
- This hybrid role is Colorado-based, but requires a consistent routine in-office at the HQ in Steamboat Springs, CO.Â
- Experience with: Adobe Creative Suite, photography, Canva, WordPress, and Shopify are all a plus.
- A passion for cycling and an understanding of rider segments.
Relationships:
- Reports directly to the Marketing Director.
- Close working relationships with sales and production staff.
