Job Summary
Verb Biotics is seeking an organized and outgoing sales professional to support our sales and marketing team. As Verb Biotics is a start-up company, the Inside Sales Associate will wear many hats and is key in supporting the Director of Sales to nurture a positive company culture and achieve commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Qualification
· Identify potential clients through research and networking activities.
· Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our target markets.
· Support marketing inbound lead generation activities as needed.
New Business Development and Account Management
· Nurture qualified leads through outbound engagement and virtual meetings to establish relationships with key decision-makers, offering ingredient solutions to meet specific product formulation needs.
· Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals, showcasing the technical benefits and functionality of the ingredients offered.
· Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from prospective customers.
· For assigned small and medium-size business (SMB) prospective clients, progress leads through each stage of the sales pipeline, convert to revenue-generating accounts, and manage and grow existing business over time.
· Maintain a strong pipeline of SMB prospective clients using CRM tools to track outreach efforts, communications, and deal progress.
· Achieve sales targets and KPIs as set by management. Commercial Support
· Process and/or ship product samples and sales collateral to customers and events.
· Process customer orders as needed. Qualifications
· 3+ years of inside sales experience, preference for dietary supplement and/or functional food and beverage industries.
· Experience with CRM Systems (experience with HubSpot is a plus). · Bachelor's degree required, preference for biology, chemistry, nutrition or food science.
· Highly motivated, self-starter.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Passion for health and wellness.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multi-task across different platforms and forms of communication.
· Proven track record of reaching goals.
