DGK Holdings Operations - Customer Service Representative
Contract Position / Fully Remote
$20-25/hour, Up to 25 hours a week
JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for receiving all customer orders, maintaining order compliance, and ensuring order migration into DGK Holding’s accounting and business system. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of order entry, inventory, accounting software, solid communication and organizational skills, with a passion for the natural food industry.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the face of the Good Karma and No Cow brands as it relates to all customer interactions, both written and verbal.
- Receive customer orders, work with buyers to confirm order requirements are maintained, and migrate orders to Good Karma’s and No Cow’s systems (Sage 50 and Quickbooks) and warehouses.
- Organize all PO’s, track order and delivery dates, Bills of Lading and POD’s.
- Alert customers to shortages and back in stock (recovery) dates.
- Maintain organized files (paper/electronic) of purchase order history.
- Work very closely with the Inventory & Demand Planning Manager as required to ensure all POs are organized and accurately tendered.
- Support Operations team as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer 1 – 2 years’ experience managing customer orders, working with logistics providers, and/or familiarity with Transportation and Warehousing customer interfaces.
- Independently handle complex details with minimal supervision, while escalating the most complex issues to the Operations Manager.
- Experience with EDI (SPS/TruCommerce) is a plus.
- Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and a passion for small details a must.
- Individuals must be able to work within a team environment.
- Position requires strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work well with internal and external personnel of all levels.
