Overview
In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and executing all aspects of online merchandising for Pact, driving site strategy to optimize product assortment, visibility, and conversion. This role will collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to create an engaging and seamless online shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
Site Merchandising Strategy & Execution:
- Drives on site merchandising strategies to bring the merchandising and creative strategies to life; optimizing navigation, on-site search, assortment layout and site content to enable financial KPIS (conversation rate, AOV, UPTs)Â
- Continuously enhance category navigation structure by analyzing key business drivers and consumer behavior.
- Collaborate with the digital, creative & GTM teams to optimize product page layouts, category pages, navigation, and search functionality to create a seamless and intuitive shopping experience.
- Work closely with the Go-To-Market (GTM) team to develop CTAs and linking strategies that drive conversions.
Product Assortment & Presentation:
- Partner with merchandising, GTM, and planning teams to ensure the right product assortment is presented on the website, balancing customer demand and inventory availability.
- Oversee mobile and desktop experiences to ensure best-in-class functionality, supported by a deep understanding of technical features and site operations.
- Own and maintain the Product data catalogue, ensuring all product details, attributes, and tags are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with merchandising strategies to be passed off to operations.Â
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze key performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, AOV) to recommend opportunities for improvement and implement actionable strategies.
- Utilize A/B testing and data insights to enhance product visibility and optimize merchandising tactics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, product, and operations teams to align on product launches, promotions, and visual assets, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.
About You
- 7+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within the apparel or fashion industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful site merchandising strategies that drive both customer engagement and revenue growth. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office.Â
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and leverage insights to optimize the site experience.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), e-commerce platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Ability to think strategically while executing at a tactical level.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
- A keen eye for design and user experience best practices, with a passion for fashion and digital trends.
- Flexible and resilient and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.Â
