JOB TITLE: Director of eCommerce
DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing
REPORTS TO: SVP of Sales
LOCATION: Denver/Boulder (preferred); Remote optional
JOB PURPOSE
As Four Sigmatic’s Director of eCommerce, you’ll be primarily responsible for the growth and profitability of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales channel and secondarily supporting our SVP of Sales with Amazon digital marketing (in the U.S., Canada, and EU). Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, paid acquisition, retention marketing, web merchandising, email marketing, customer care, budgeting, and forecasting. You will be managing a senior full-time eCommerce operator, and 5 agencies (Meta & Google growth agency, CRO agency, Customer Support Agency, Email Marketing Agency, and Web Development Agency). You will be part of the Extended Leadership team, and strategic planning, collaborating with operations, finance, brand marketing, and retail sales teams to help leverage Four Sigmatic’s omnichannel flywheel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Paid Media Acquisition
- Acquire new customers through paid social ads (Meta, Google, Tiktok) by constantly optimizing offers, landing pages, ad creatives, and media buying strategies.
- Partner with finance and brand marketing teams to ensure that the cohorts we acquire deliver expected profitability and high consumer satisfaction.
- Deliver Four Sigmatic value proposition in all ads in a way that also supports retail.
Retention & Recurring Revenue
- Help turn +80% of consumers into Promoters (on NPS) driving word-of-mouth.
- Own DTC retention marketing efforts to increase repurchase rates and LTV (email, SMS, direct mail, consumer support, web content/education).
- Oversee effective product launches and quarterly promotions.
Agency Management
- Manage a suite of eCommerce agencies to deliver on our business objectives in all functional areas (Meta, Google, Email, Support, Web, etc).
Consumer & customer satisfaction
- Obsess about the consumer's experience and happiness with our brand.
- Deliver operational excellence with marketing operations to help make Four Sigmatic the best partner for operations, finance, sales, our suppliers, and our agencies.
- Partner with Brand & Innovation on improving the 4 P’s of Marketing
General Management
- Budgeting & demand forecasting with operations and finance teams.
- Member of the Extended Leadership team meetings, and select board meetings.

TECHNICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Your career was built in/around digital and you understand the needs of both DTC and Amazon. You have created content, campaigns, and strategies that help eCommerce growth.
- You’ve worked 8+ years in eCommerce roles driving growth and profitability.
- You’ve worked 4+ years in growth-stage consumers knowing the industry best practices, but you’re also familiar with the scrappy nature of startup companies.
- You have been part of managing an 8-figure marketing budget for 3+ years.
- You’ve been part of managing eCommerce, delivering at least 7-figure annual EBITDA for 2+ years. Alternatively, you've been part of taking a brand from about $0 to $10MM in annual sales with limited outside funding. With these in mind you've learnt to be scrappy and creative.
- Having significant experience in the supplement and wellness industry is a must.
- You have some experience in US Retail sales channels and marketing around it.
- Based in the Denver/Boulder area, but remote work is possible.
- Ability to travel 10% if in the Denver area, and 25% if remote.
