Job Description
Much like the founders we support, this is a high-impact, cross-functional role ideal for someone eager to learn the full spectrum of how CPG startups operate and scale. Reporting directly to the Senior Partner/COO, you will play a key role in supporting MacGray’s client base. This is not just a support role — it's a vital position that helps ensure executive leadership can focus on big-picture strategy by keeping daily operations running smoothly.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple business functions and learn the ins and outs of startup operations. You’ll be client-facing, execution-oriented, and encouraged to take initiative. We're looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, is ready to wear many hats, and is excited by the energy (and sometimes, chaos) of startup culture. The ideal candidate is motivated, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment. You should be resourceful, detail-oriented, and flexible, with a strong ability to problem-solve and pivot quickly as priorities shift.
We prefer this position to be hybrid with in-person work at our Erie, CO office at least twice/week, however we will consider remote candidates.
Key Responsibilities

Sales Support
- Create and maintain product spec sheets
- Complete and submit new item forms
- Conduct pricing analysis
- Perform store-level sales calls and check-ins
- Analyze sales and performance data
Operations Support
- Order-to-invoice
- Enter, track, and reconcile orders
- Monitor inventory levels and flag issues proactively
- Coordinate fulfillment and logistics
Marketing Support
- Schedule and execute demos
- Assist with content execution and marketing collateral
- Support online consumer engagement and response
General & Administrative
- Provide customer service support
- Conduct industry and market research
- Ad Hoc Shipping
- Ad Hoc Support for MacGray executives administrative needs
Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Proactive problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and independently
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, upbeat, and positive demeanor—especially in client interactions
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable shifting between diverse responsibilities and thinking on your feet (our priorities and responsibilities are constantly shifting)
Nice to Have
- 1-5 years experience in any role in a CPG company
