About the Role
Madhava is seeking a full, part-time Amazon Manager to provide day-to-day support for our Amazon channel. This role is focused on executing tasks within Amazon Vendor Central, supporting internal cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing), and ensuring smooth day-to-day performance across the channel.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has 3–5 years of relevant e-commerce experience, with working knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central. This role is grounded in execution—focused on coordination, tracking, and performance—but comes with built-in autonomy so you can prioritize tasks, streamline processes, drive improvements, and make a tangible impact as part of a broader team.
This is a ~20-hour/week contract position, but hours can flex based on needs.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Channel Management
- Maintain and update weekly Amazon scorecards (sales, velocity, pinpoint, and address issues/anomalies).
- Monitor listings and trouble shoot issues (pricing errors, suppressed listings, catalog mismatches).
- Open and manage Amazon support cases; escalate to vendor manager as needed.
- Assist with annual forecasting inputs and monthly P&L processes.
- Track and report on advertising performance; support ad hoc margin and sales analysis.
- Coordinate product launches on Amazon in partnership with Marketing and Operations.
Finance & Accounting Crossover
- Support Finance in tracking channel specific AR, deductions, and chargebacks.
- Assist in managing shortage disputes and accrual reconciliations.
- Validate agency invoices (ads, recovery) and e-tail deductions against promotions.
- Communicate with external recovery agencies on AR status and reporting.
Operations & Supply Chain Crossover
- Support PO processing by monitoring weekly orders and resolving EDI errors.
- Update availability and catalog status in Vendor Central (temporary OOS, discontinued SKUs).
- Partner with Operations to review Amazon inventory levels, calculate weeks-on-hand, and provide input for shorting or stock decisions.
Marketing & Brand Collaboration
- Manage and update Amazon content, including product listings and titles, A+ content, and Brand Store assets.
- Submit content through Vendor Central or consult with agencies for execution.
- Provide channel insights for planning and campaign alignment.
Agency & Partner Oversight
- Coordinate with agency partners on advertising strategy, budgets, and reporting.
- Review and summarize agency reports for internal leadership team.
- Partner with recovery agencies to track repayment progress and ensure accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of e-commerce experience, including direct work in Amazon Vendor Central and understanding of Amazon advertising platforms.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience building and maintaining a variety of reporting tools.
- Ability to manage details across multiple stakeholders (Finance, Ops, Marketing, external agencies).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable in a cross-functional role that blends execution, coordination, and reporting.
