The Business Development Director will play a key role in hunting for and engaging new customer leads through partnerships, events, referrals, events and network-building. This position involves being comfortable reaching out to a variety of people, aligning business objectives, and making ideas come to life out of nothing. The goal is lead generation and leads then get passed on to our Sales Executives. Success in This Role Means:Â
- Generating 200 high-value enterprise sales opportunities in 12Mo via partnerships, referrals, and events
- Effectively managing a direct report or agency partner focused on high-volume business development outreach
Key Responsibilities:
Source, Develop and Manage High Value Partnerships resulting in Sales Opportunities
- Own outbound lead generation, including shaping the process, approach, tools, budget, and team
- Prospect and pursue high-value targets that align with EcoEnclose’s Ideal Customer Profile
- Leverage events, partners, networks, and other organizations within the sustainability space to source referrals and leads
- Deliver leads to EcoEnclose’s sales pipeline, ensuring smooth lead handoff, tracking, and conversion into revenue opportunities
- Measure performance against forecasts and continuously improve to hit goals.
