Full Job Description

Overview

Pact is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting/Finance team. This full cycle accounting role reports to the Controller and will support all areas of the accounting function including period close and audit/review preparation. In addition to strong accounting experience, the ideal candidate has experience in e-commerce, including inventory management and credit card processing. We are looking for a motivated individual who will thrive in a growth environment that is continually evolving. 

 

Location

This is a full-time, remote position. Preference may be given to Colorado-based candidates

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly close by preparing schedules, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Record journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Record daily cash activity, including deposits and withdrawals, to track cash flow accurately.
  • Oversee invoicing, collections, and aging reports to ensure timely customer payments and healthy cash flow.
  • Generate invoices, follow up on payments, and resolve billing issues with customers.
  • Process vendor payments and maintain accurate vendor records, including setup and compliance documentation.
  • Review and process employee expense reports and reconcile company credit card activity.
  • Oversee merchant processing, transaction accuracy, and credit card billing reconciliations.
  • Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Provide analysis and reporting to leadership and other teams as needed for operational support.

 

Qualifications:

    • College Degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years relevant experience
    • Must be highly proficient in Excel
    • ERP experience required, Netsuite strongly preferred
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Superior analytical, judgment and decision making skills with the ability to adapt to change
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong sense of teamwork with ability to work with other departments to achieve company goals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
