Full Job Description

This position will be a support role in the Purchasing Dept which includes but is not limited to:  Data Entry (Planning Reports and Orders),  Filing (Logistics/Purchasing Documentation & recordkeeping),  Monitor Inbound shipments and General Administrative Tasks.

Excel skills required for this position.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • You provide critical administrative support, including filing, printing, making copies, and emailing documents and other general administrative work.
  • Update Purchasing Department Reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Data Entry / Purchasing documents & product specifications
  • Organize paper and electronic files.
  • Ensure proper documentation management of purchase orders & shipping documents
  • Assist with formatting, printing, and filing time-sensitive documents
  • Facilitate communication with suppliers (domestic and overseas)
  • Monitor status of domestic and international shipments while managing documentation
  • Deliver samples between office and warehouse
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Practice and adhere to the Best Practices of the organization

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management, independently setting priorities and goals
  • Meet Deadlines in a timely manner, multi- task and prioritize.
  • Strong work ethic w/ ability to flex work hours to meet demand
