Basic Function: The Controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with US GAAP.

What you’ll be doing:

- Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance

- Oversee month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
